Beberapa tulisannya banyak mengangkat kajian tentang suporter sepak bola dan politik telah dipresentasikan dalam berbagai konferensi dan diterbitkan dalam proceeding akademis, yaitu pertama, Konflik Multikultur di Balik Gemerlap Sepakbola (2008) yang dipresentasikan dalam Konferensi Nasional Kajian Media dan Komunikasi di Universitas Airlangga Surabaya dan dipublikasikan dalam buku Transformasi Industri Media dan Komunikasi di Indonesia (2008). Kedua, Anak Muda, Suporter, Media Sosial dan Rekonsiliasi (2011) yang dipresentasikan call for paper Remaja Digital di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta dan dipublikasikan dalam buku Remaja Digital (2011). Ketiga, Sepak Bola sebagai Komunikasi Politik, dimuat dalam buku Komunikasi Politik (2011) yang diterbitkan oleh Program Pasca Sarjana Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta. Keempat, Sepak Bola Lokal sebagai City Branding (2011) yang dipresentasikan dalam National Conference on City and Branding Universitas Brawijaya. Dikenal aktif dalam mendorong mahasiswa untuk menulis buku sebagai outcomes dari perkuliahan, seperti buku Dosa-dosa Televisi (2010), Mesin Pencuci Otak: Menggugat Tayangan Televisi di Indonesia (2012), Prek : Pelanggaran Etika Periklanan (2012) Gado-gado Pelanggaran Iklan (2009), Kolonialisasi Media Televisi (2013) yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi UMY. Kedua, Anak Muda, Suporter, Media Sosial dan Rekonsiliasi (2011) yang dipresentasikan call for paper Remaja Digital di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta dan dipublikasikan dalam buku Remaja Digital (2011). Ketiga, Sepak Bola sebagai Komunikasi Politik, dimuat dalam buku Komunikasi Politik (2011) yang diterbitkan oleh Program Pasca Sarjana Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta. Keempat, Sepak Bola Lokal sebagai City Branding (2011) yang dipresentasikan dalam National Conference on City and Branding Universitas Brawijaya.
