Wina Bisset's Simply Indonesian is the third cook book written by Wina Sukowati. It includes 100 simple an easy Indonesian recipes fot breakpast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, as well as some of the street food and desserts that are so popular in Indonesia.

Wina shares the food that she grew up with in Indonesia's capital city, Jakarta, and royal city of Surakarta (Solo), Central Java, and includes favourite recipes from her mother and grandmother, various family cooks and some of her favourite street vendors. The book celebrates the vibrant, varied culinary tradition that is such a central feature of Indonesia culture, not only through Wina's recipes, but through glimpses of her life story, the food culture of the two cities that she grew up in, and write-ups on how dishes are traditionally prepared and presented.
