Jeffrey Archer
Ia lahir di London pada 15 April 1940 dan dibesarkan di Somerset. Ia bersekolah di Wellington School, Somerset, dan Brasenose College, Oxford. Pada usia 29 tahun, ia menjadi anggota Parlemen termuda. Lima tahun kemudian ia mengundurkan diri dan menulis novel pertamanya Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less. Sampai saat ini novel-novel Jeffrey Archer sudah diterbitkan dalam 21 bahasa dan di 64 negara. The Fourth Estate merupakan novel yang dibuat berdasarkan kisah kehidupan Rupert Murdoch dan Robert Maxwell. To Cut a Long Story Short adalah kumpulan cerita pendek yang diterbitkan tahun 2001.
